Ultimate Paleo Granola
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
1 Cup Sliced almonds |
1 Cup Chopped pecans or walnuts |
1/2 Cup Medjool Dates |
1/3 Cup Unsweetened coconut flakes |
2 tablespoons Almond flour |
2 tablespoons Melted Coconut Oil (Nutivia Butter Flavor) |
2 tablespoons Melted Coconut Butter |
2 tablespoons Maple Syrup |
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon Sea salt |
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a saucepan, melt the coconut oil and coconut butter. Remove from the heat and add in the maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Stir to combine.
3. In a large bowl, mix the following: almonds, walnuts, dates, coconut, almond flour, and UPP protein powder.
4. Pour the liquid ingredients over the dry, and mix to combine.
5. Place on the baking sheet, spreading evenly.
6. Bake for approx. 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy (if you prefer a chewier granola, less time).
