How is the beef made into a protein?

This is a question we get frequently. The beef is obtained via a unique manufacturing process that uses high temperatures combined with pressure which obtains optimal hydrolysis of the raw beef material. Unlike products that use whey protein, absolutely no chemicals are used to extract the bioavailable peptides. Instead through this chemical free process of hydrolysis and ultra filtration you can “split” the protein down and increase the number of fragments associated with the higher number of amino acids increasing absorption of amino acids and protein.

Where is the beef from?

The beef we use is sourced from hormone-free, antibiotic-free, non-GMO cows in Sweden that are raised on pasture. It has been tested to be free of hormones, antibiotics, and allergens.

Is it allergen friendly?

Yes. Our beef protein protein is just, well, beef... that's it. If your diet allows for beef than you can have this protein. Our finished product adds L-glutamine, MCT powder (coconut), probiotics and stevia. Specifically, Ultimate Paleo Protein is paleo, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, egg free, peanut free, legume free, hormone free & antibiotic free.

Does it taste good?

Yes! Among the most common feedback we've received about our protein powder is the surprisingly delicious taste. Beef protein tastes nothing like beef, in fact it has very little flavor at all, but we add stevia which gives it a subtly sweet flavor that mixes great in any drink. The stevia we use is a top-of-the-line variety that leaves no bitter aftertaste that is common with other stevia forms. We will also be coming out with an unsweetened flavor very soon!

Who is this protein for?

Everyone! No matter your age or activity level this powder is a convenient and healthy way to supplement protein into your diet. The muscle recovery benefits are great for athletes of all kinds while the high digestibility and additional collagen proteins are a huge benefit for everyone, young and old.

Does it help recovery after workouts?

Yes! Beef proteins have been scientifically proven to increase lean muscle mass post exercise. Beef proteins not only help rebuild muscle but also repair cartilage and ligaments, which is ideal for athletes, people training hard, those suffering from chronic illness, and the elderly. This can help with the repair of damaged muscles thus promoting more efficient muscle hypertrophy during anabolic growth phase.

Is beef protein safe for kids?

Absolutely! The great thing about this powder is that it's made with a protein that your body recognizes. Beef is an excellent bioavailable protein that is safe for consumers of all ages. Furthermore it is very easily digestible (unlike most protein powders) so you can rest assured that your child will not experience gastrointestinal distress from this protein.

Can I mix it with just water?

Yes. Beef protein mixes very well in room temperature water making it a perfect post-workout recovery drink. Additionally we have many people who mix it with coconut milk, throw it in smoothies and even mix it with hot water to create a protein enhanced hot chocolate.
